So, what do you need to get a real Gravity Monkey app on your phone? Well, your phone needs to support Java™, first of all. If you have a phone made in the last couple of years from any US domestic carrier except Verizon, then you're probably in luck. I know next to nothing about phones and carriers beyond the US, but many GMonk apps have been made it to overseas users successfully. Oh, and Canada. That's not overseas. Over lake, sometimes.

Most apps are truly designed for a "traditional" handset, but if you've got a recent Blackberry, or a Palm Treo (with the IBM Java VM installed), most apps have been tested and had relative success on both platforms (not on the Sidekick, 'tho, as it's still locked down, AFAIK).

The requirements for each app are different -- some require internet access, and some require more memory or more data space. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose but your patience. And all your data....just kidding. Which brings me to:
