Gravity Monkey is a website,
a sometimes-pseudonym, or a mobile game.

I am Jason Uechi, and I am probably around here,
doing stuff sometimes noted here,
and generally interested in these types of things.
| |
I was born in the year of the monkey, raised here,
and went to school here.
I then went off to school here
and here,
and along the way, I wrote a bunch of music you've probably never heard, like:
| |
Darkness Resound
(orchestra, 1st mvmt)
Guardians
of the Secret
(chamber ens, 1st mvmt)
String
Quartet
(2nd mvmt)

I am now often busy building stuff, like this or this, or spending time with my wife and son.

This site is built in PHP, with the still-king-of-the-hill Movable Type as the blog engine, and some older JSP pages still hanging around.
Many Web 2.0 sites are a part of mix -- from Google Maps, del.icio.us, flickr, meebo, and more. And Mologogo, of course.

The header is based upon Jackson Pollock's "Convergence". An appropriate work to choose, I think, given the larger technical interests at play. The color bar is a combination of the colors used horizontally across Pollock's work, summarized into a continuum.
